1 Room, 3 Looks

The Challenge

Despite entertaining often, the Rosenblatt family of five, based just north of Chicago, struggled with making their large dining room feel warm and inviting. “We’d love it to feel like we could just as easily host guests for a formal holiday dinner as we could for a casual weekday family meal,” says Heather Rosenblatt.

To help them, we enlisted three talented Casaza designers to reimagine this space as a cozy but elegant gathering spot.

After 17 years and lots of renovations on their Villa City, Florida, home, the Howard family still can’t figure out what to do with their large, cathedral-ceilinged living room. “We replaced the built-ins with floating shelves, raised the doors, and changed the furniture, but it’s still not working!” says Julie Howard.

See how designers Galey Alix, Keia McSwain, and Tyler Wisler transformed the space!
